Chevrolet Equinox

The Chevy Equinox features dynamic styling and flowing lines that make it stand out from the crowd. It's offered in L, LS, LT, and Premier trim levels, each with its own unique characteristics. With the L and LS trims, you get keyless entry, signature LED daytime running lights, color-keyed door handles, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and black-capped heated power mirrors.

Stepping up to the LT gets you bright body trim, high-intensity discharge headlights, color-keyed mirrors, and rear privacy glass. The top-of-the-line Premier features LED headlights, fog lights, chrome-accented door handles, 18-inch wheels, chrome roof rails, LED taillights, and chrome-capped auto-dimming mirrors with turn signals. A hands-free power liftgate gives you easy access to the cargo area.

Under the hood of the Equinox is a lively turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The smooth-shifting electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission offers overdrive and driver shift control.

With its compact size and agile handling, the Equinox is easy to navigate around town, while the smooth and refined ride makes even the longest journey a pleasure. Stop/start technology helps to achieve 26 mpg for city driving and you can get up to 31 mpg on the highway. Front-wheel drive is standard and all but the base trim offer the option of a switchable all-wheel-drive system.

The Equinox's roomy, elegant cabin seats five passengers along with 29.9 cubic feet of storage space. The rear seats fold flat to give you a generous 63.9 cubic-foot cargo area with a clever underfloor storage compartment for smaller items. The L trim offers push-button start, premium cloth seating, air conditioning, cruise control, and a tilt and telescoping steering column. Two 12-volt power outlets enable you to power up and charge your mobile devices.

The standard Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system features a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability, voice commands, Bluetooth, USB data and charging ports, and a six-speaker sound system. Control of the system is handled via the 7-inch touch screen.

Go with the LT trim for satellite radio, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and convenient rear-seat release levers. The luxurious Premier trim gives you ambient lighting, perforated leather seating, memory settings for the driver's seat and door mirrors, heated front seats, a leather-bound steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. You'll also find added tech features like remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 120-volt power outlet, an 8-inch HD touch screen, an SD card reader, and a wireless charging pad.

Chevy Safety Assist comes standard in the Equinox. This suite of driver assistance technologies includes lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, pedestrian detection, and autonomous emergency braking. Premier models add lane change warning, side blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, and rear parking sensors.
