Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 is available in the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trim levels. Depending on the trim, you have the choice of a regular cab, an extended SuperCab, or the roomier SuperCrew cab, along with three bed sizes. All trims are now available with an on-board generator.

XL models offer 17-inch wheels, wiper-activated headlamps, daytime running lights, four cargo tie-downs, and a lockable tailgate. The XLT trim adds aluminum wheels, fog lamps, heated power mirrors, and a power-locking tailgate.

Go with the Lariat for 18-inch wheels, LED headlamps, LED cornering fog lamps, and auto-dimming power-folding mirrors with integrated turn signals and LED puddle lamps. Helping you work after dark are mirror-mounted spotlights, LED bed lighting, and a tailgate LED, while the Boxlink cargo system stops your load from shifting.

The King Ranch gives you LED headlamps with a dynamic bending feature, along with running boards, LED taillights, and a 400-Watt power outlet. Platinum models have 20-inch wheels, while the Limited trim features 22-inch wheels, power-retractable running boards, and a power tailgate.

You can choose from six engines, starting with a 3.3-liter V-6 delivering 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Next is a 325-horsepower turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 that develops 400 pound-feet of torque. A 5.0-liter V-8 gives you 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet.

An available 250-horsepower 3.0-liter V-6 turbo-diesel generates 440 pound-feet of torque, or opt for a 400-horsepower turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that pumps out 500 pound-feet.

Inside the XL is hard-wearing cloth seating and the interior features include air conditioning, a tilt and telescoping steering column, an 8-inch infotainment touch screen, smartphone capability, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. XLT models add cruise control.

With the Lariat, you get ambient lighting, leather seating, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and power-adjustable pedals with memory. Tech features include a 12-inch digital instrument panel and a 12-inch touch-screen display. Each of the top three trims has its own unique luxurious interior, plus navigation, a B & O sound system, and wireless charging.

The F-150's standard Ford Co-Pilot360 technology includes pre-collision assist, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam control, hill start assist, and a backup camera with hitch guidance. Going with the XLT gets you blind-spot monitoring (BLIS) with cross-traffic warning.

Step up to the Lariat for a lane-keeping system and BLIS with trailer coverage. The King Ranch adds adaptive steering, adaptive cruise control, and front parking sensors. The Limited trim offers Pro-Trailer Backup Assist and active parking assistance.
